Creative Ateliers Return Policy

Creative Ateliers L.L.C-FZ creates made-to-order, handcrafted, and limited-production furniture pieces designed for collectors, architects, interior designers, private residences, and hospitality projects.

Because many of our products are custom produced or made specifically for each client, our return policy reflects the bespoke and artisanal nature of our work.

1. Custom and Made-to-Order Items

Most Creative Ateliers pieces are produced on demand, customized, or handcrafted in limited quantities.

Custom-made, bespoke, personalized, modified, special-order, or made-to-order furniture is generally not eligible for return once production has started.

This includes products customized in:

Size

Material

Finish

Color

Design details

Hardware

Interior configuration

Special project requirements

Once production has begun, cancellation, return, or refund may not be possible due to the time, materials, craftsmanship, and production planning involved.

2. Standard Items

If a non-custom, standard product is eligible for return, it must be returned unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging within 14 days of delivery.

Returned products must be in the same condition in which they were received.

Creative Ateliers reserves the right to refuse a return if the product has been used, damaged, modified, installed, assembled, altered, or returned without proper packaging.

Shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, local taxes, clearance fees, and any related charges are non-refundable unless the item is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect.

3. Damaged or Defective Products

If a product arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact Creative Ateliers within 48 hours of delivery.

Damage or defect reports must include:

Order information

Clear photographs of the packaging

Clear photographs of the product

A written description of the issue

Delivery documents, where available

After reviewing the case, Creative Ateliers may offer one of the following solutions, depending on the nature of the issue:

Repair

Replacement

Partial replacement of the affected component

Technical support

An appropriate alternative solution

Failure to report visible damage or delivery-related issues within 48 hours may limit our ability to assist with claims against shipping or logistics providers.

4. Delivery Inspection

Customers are responsible for inspecting all products immediately upon delivery.

Before accepting delivery, customers should check the packaging and product condition where possible.

If the packaging appears damaged, this should be noted on the delivery documents and reported to Creative Ateliers immediately.

5. Return Authorization

All returns must be approved in writing by Creative Ateliers before being shipped back.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

Customers must not return any product without receiving written return authorization and instructions from Creative Ateliers.

Approved returns must be shipped to the address provided by Creative Ateliers at the time of authorization.

6. Return Shipping

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

The customer is also responsible for ensuring that the returned product is properly packed, insured, and shipped with a reliable logistics provider.

Creative Ateliers is not responsible for damage, loss, customs delays, or additional charges that occur during return shipping arranged by the customer.

7. Refunds

If a return is approved, any refund will be evaluated after the returned product has been received and inspected by Creative Ateliers.

Approved refunds may be subject to deductions for:

Original shipping costs

Return shipping costs

Customs duties or import charges

Payment processing fees

Packaging costs

Handling costs

Design or customization work already completed

Material reservations or production costs already incurred

Refunds will usually be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.

8. Cancellations

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:

If a cancellation request is received before production begins, Creative Ateliers may consider the request on a case-by-case basis.

If production has already started, cancellation may not be possible, and any payments made may be non-refundable or partially refundable depending on the stage of production and costs already incurred.

9. Natural Material and Handcrafted Variations

Creative Ateliers products may include natural materials, handcrafted finishes, hand-applied details, metalwork, wood, stone-effect surfaces, leather, and other refined materials.

Minor variations in color, texture, grain, finish, dimensions, or handcrafted details may occur.

These variations are part of the artisanal character of the product and are not considered defects.

10. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

Custom-made products

Made-to-order products

Bespoke or personalized pieces

Modified or specially requested products

Products with custom size, material, finish, or design details

Products that have been used, installed, assembled, altered, or damaged after delivery

Products returned without written authorization

Products not returned in original or secure packaging
